Mr. Curtis M. Prince, Sr., President & CEO
Prior to establishing Prince Security Services, Curtis was Superintendent of Loss Prevention for a major supermarket chain in the Washington Metropolitan area. As District Superintendent he was in charge of the safety and security of grocery stores located in DC, Maryland and Virginia. He trained and supervised many security officers and plain clothes store detectives. During the 1968 riots that occurred in Washington, DC, Curtis was responsible for protecting a supermarket targeted by looters to be emptied and burned to the ground. His "take control" attitude and quick response to the volatile situation saved the store from total destruction. His outstanding service was recognized by the community and his employer. From 1998 to 2002, Curtis Prince, Sr., served two consecutive terms as Public Safety Director for the Town of Eagle Harbor in Aquasco, Maryland. During his tenure as Public Safety Director, Curtis was instrumental in negotiating a settling dispute for the town with a major power plant organization. The settlement netted the town over one-million dollars in funds as a result of reported negligence by the power plant organization. Prince Security Services, Inc., under the direction of Curtis M.
Prince, Sr., has been recognized for outstanding community law enforcement
service and professionalism by several police departments in the Washington
Metropolitan area, as well as The Washington Post, Parade Magazine
and local radio stations. Curtis credits his accomplishments as CEO
of Prince Security Services to proper management, training and supervision
of the security officers and the development and execution of sensible
security programs. |
